HOWEVER, IT MAY BE POSSIBLE TO BOOK WITH ALTERNATIVE AIRLINES USING THE GAMBIAFLIGHTS WEBSITE BELOW. Astraeus Airways fly direct from London Gatwick to Banjul on Tuesdays and Fridays. During the tourist season, flights with this carrier (from up to six UK airports) can be booked from the flights website of the Gambia Experience holiday company, GambiaFlights.co.uk.
SN Brussels airlines (formerly known as Sabena) operates flights on Sundays and Thursdays (this information correct for the 2006-07 season). From London this route has two stops, in Brussels (Belgium) and Dakar (Senegal). These scheduled flights will generally cost at least 700GPB. Book your flight with SN Brussels
It is also possible to book on this route using flightbooking websites such as ebookers or Opodo. For increased flexibility these websites will offer the UK to Brussels section with alternative airlines such as British Airways, bmi and Lufthansa. It is usually possible to find a flight from a choice of Heathrow, Gatwick or City Airports in London, or other UK airports.
The SN Brussels route currently operates on Sundays and Thursdays. You can use Opodo to find flights on the remaining days of the week via other cities in Europe and North Africa. These usually cost more than 1000GBP.
