SN Brussels airlines operates flights on Sundays and Thursdays (this information correct for the 2008-09 season). From London this route has up to two stops, in Brussels (Belgium) and sometimes Dakar (Senegal). These scheduled flights will generally cost at least 600GBP.

Onward flights from Banjul
There are only a limited range of options for flying on from Banjul to other West African cities. A wider range of destinations are available from Yoff International Airport in nearby Dakar, the capital of Senegal. British nationals do not need a visa to visit Senegal.
Banjul to Dakar is just a short flight and will cost around 100GBP. The budget alternative is to travel overland from Banjul to Dakar. This one-day trip can be made as follows:
- ferry crossing from Banjul to Barra (7 dalasi on foot, 1h)
- a bush taxi from Barra to Amdalai (50 dalasi, 30min)
- crossing the Gambia-Senegal frontier on foot and presenting yourself to both passport offices
- a short ride by donkey cart to the Karang taxi garage
- a sept-place Peugeot from Karang to Dakar (5000 CFA, 5h)
- a city taxi from Dakar to Yoff Airport (500 CFA)
